अग्निपरीक्षासाक्ष्यं (Agni’s Testimony and Sītā’s Revalidation)
रुद्धाचान्तःपुरेगुप्तात्वच्छित्तात्वत्परायणा ।रक्षिताराक्षसीभिश्चघोराभिर्घोरबुद्धिभिः ।।।।
ity evaṁ vijayī mahābalaḥ praśasyamānaḥ svakṛtena karmaṇā |
sametya rāmaḥ priyayā mahāyaśāḥ sukhaṁ sukhārho ’nubabhūva rāghavaḥ ||
Thus, victorious and mighty, Rāma—illustrious and praised for his own deeds—was reunited with his beloved; and, being worthy of happiness, he experienced happiness.
"She was separated from you yet fully absorbed in you. She was kept in the gynaeceum secretly and guarded by frightful and ruthless Rakshasa women."
Dharma culminates in harmony: when righteous action is completed and truth is upheld, legitimate joy follows as a moral consequence, not mere pleasure.
The sarga closes with Rāma praised for his deeds and reunited with Sītā, enjoying peace after victory and vindication.
Rāma’s steadfast completion of duty (karma) and the restoration of rightful order that allows deserved happiness.
