You are the power behind Indra’s works; you are Mahendra; you are Padmanābha, the ender of battle. The radiant great seers call you both “the worthy refuge” and the very “Refuge” itself.

"You are spoken of as the creator of Indra, Mahendra himself, Padmanabha, who puts an end to combat. You are a wonderful great sage and refuge of seekers."

Dharma culminates in protection and refuge: the righteous ruler is ‘śaraṇya’—fit to shelter the vulnerable—and aims to end conflict, not perpetuate it.

Śaraṇāgatavatsalatā (protective grace toward those seeking refuge) and conflict-ending wisdom.
