सीताया अग्निप्रवेशः (Sita’s Ordeal by Fire / Agni-Pariksha)

कर्मणामनसावाचायथानातिचराम्यहम् ।राघवंसर्वधर्मज्ञंतथामांपातुपावकः ।।।।

karmaṇā manasā vācā yathā nāticārāmy aham | rāghavaṃ sarvadharmajñaṃ tathā māṃ pātu pāvakaḥ || 6.119.27 ||

If by deed, by mind, or by speech I have never transgressed against Rāghava—knower of all dharma—then may Pāvaka (Agni) protect me.

'If I have ever acted or been unfaithful at heart or in speech and did not follow a righteous path with Rama, who is a knower of all virtues, let the fire god protect me."

R
Rāghava (Rāma)
P
Pāvaka/Agni
D
dharma (as a principle, via sarvadharmajña)

Dharma is holistic: purity is measured across action, thought, and speech. Sītā asserts complete fidelity and submits to divine verification.

Sītā intensifies her declaration, covering all modes of conduct (kāya–manas–vāk) before entering the fire.

Comprehensive integrity—faithfulness that is consistent inwardly and outwardly.
