सीतासमीपगमनम् / Sītā Brought Near to Rāma (Public Witness and Protocol)
विसृज्यशिबिकांतस्मात्पद्भ्यामेवोपसर्पतु ।समीपेममवैदेहींपश्यन्त्वेतेवनौकसः ।।।।
pūrvakāt pratyayāc cāham ukto viśvastayā tayā | bhartāraṃ draṣṭum icchāmi kṛtārthaṃ saha-lakṣmaṇam ||
And earlier too, trusting in me, she told me: “I wish to see my husband—fulfilled in purpose—together with Lakṣmaṇa.”
"Therefore, leaving the palanquin let Vaidehi walk on foot only towards me with the help of these Vanaras."
Dharma here is grounded in trust and truthful communication: Sītā’s confidence in Hanumān and Hanumān’s faithful reporting uphold satya and relational duty.
Hanumān reminds Rāma that Sītā had previously expressed, in confidence, her wish to see Rāma after his success, along with Lakṣmaṇa.
Sītā’s steadfastness and Hanumān’s integrity: her hope remains oriented to rightful reunion, and his role is to convey her words without distortion.
