सीतासान्त्वनम् / Hanuman Consoles Sita with the News of Victory

Rāvaṇa, the enemy, has been slain, and Laṅkā has been brought under control. For your deliverance, sleepless yet steadfast, the vow has been fulfilled—after the bridge was bound across the great ocean.

'Ravana has been killed, Lanka is under our side vanquished completely. Without any sleep, with forbearance, building an extensive bridge on the great ocean, the vow has been redeemed', is Rama's message to you, said Hanuman.

Keeping one’s vow (pratijñā-pālana) through disciplined endurance; dharma is shown as steadfast action until a righteous promise is completed.

Hanumān reports to Sītā the decisive outcomes: Ravana’s death, Lanka’s submission, and the fulfillment of Rama’s resolve—symbolized by building the ocean-bridge.

Rama’s perseverance and commitment to truth (satya) in fulfilling his vow to rescue Sītā.
