uttiṣṭhottiṣṭha kiṁ śeṣe nave paribhave kṛte | adya vai nirbhayā laṅkāṁ praviṣṭāḥ sūrya-raśmayaḥ ||

Rise, rise—why do you lie there, when a fresh humiliation has been wrought? Today, the sun’s rays have entered Laṅkā without fear.

M
Mandodarī
R
Rāvaṇa
L
Laṅkā
S
Sūrya (sun)

Concern for royal dignity and the kingdom’s fate, even in personal bereavement.
