निपेतुरिन्द्राशनयस्सैन्येचाप्यसमन्ततः ।।।।दुर्विषह्यस्वनाघोरंविनाजलधरोदयम् ।

Transliteration

nipetur indrāśanayaḥ sainye cāpy asamantataḥ |

durviṣahyasvanā ghoraṃ vinā jaladharodayam ||

Translation

Indra’s thunderbolts fell upon the army on every side—terrifying and deafening—though no clouds had risen.
