रावणशूलप्रक्षेपः — Ravana Hurls the Trident; Rama Counters with Indra’s Javelin
दशग्रीवंजयेत्याहुरसुराःसमवस्थिताः ।देवाराममवोचंस्तेत्वंजयेतिपुनःपुनः ।।।।
daśagrīvaṃ jayetyāhurasurāḥ samavasthitāḥ | devā rāmamavocaṃste tvaṃ jayeti punaḥ punaḥ ||
The Asuras, firmly stationed, cried, “Victory to the Ten-necked One (Rāvaṇa)!” while the Devas, for their part, said to Rāma again and again, “May you be victorious!”
Firmly established the Asuras uttered 'Victory to the Ten headed Ravana', and Devas for their part pronounced 'Rama be victorious' again and again.
The Asuras were cheering for the victory of Ravana (Dashagriva), while the Devas were repeatedly wishing for Rama's victory.
The Devas' support signifies that Rama represents Dharma (righteousness) and Satya (truth), aligning the cosmic forces of good against the Adharma represented by Ravana.
