रावणशूलप्रक्षेपः — Ravana Hurls the Trident; Rama Counters with Indra’s Javelin

तस्यक्रुद्धस्यवदनंदृष्टवारामस्यधीमतः ।।।।सर्वभूतानिवित्रेसुःप्राकम्पत च मेदिनी ।

tasya kruddhasya vadanaṃ dṛṣṭvā rāmasya dhīmataḥ |

sarva-bhūtāni vitresuḥ prākampata ca medinī ||

Seeing the face of the wise Rāma in wrath, all beings were struck with fear, and even the earth trembled.

Seeing enraged wise Rama's countenance, all beings on earth were shaken in fear.

It distinguishes righteous wrath from mere rage: even anger, when arising in defense of dharma and satya, carries grave moral weight and must be governed by wisdom (dhī).

As the battle continues into the next sarga, Rāma’s anger becomes so intense that it frightens all beings and seems to shake the earth itself.

Moral power joined to discernment: Rāma is described as dhīmān (wise), suggesting controlled force aligned with righteous purpose.
