Shloka 6.102.38

लक्ष्मण-प्राणरक्षा: (Lakshmana’s Revival by the Herb-Mountain)

विशल्यस्ससमाघ्रायलक्ष्मणःपरवीरहा ।।।।विशल्योविरुजश्शीघ्रमुदतिष्ठन्महीतलात् ।

viśalyaḥ sa samāghrāya lakṣmaṇaḥ paravīrahā | viśalyo virujaḥ śīghram udatiṣṭhan mahītalāt ||

Lakṣmaṇa, slayer of enemy champions, inhaled it; freed from the embedded weapon and released from pain, he quickly rose up from the earth.

The destroyer of enemies, Lakshmana, who was pained by the javelin stuck in his body, on inhaling the herb, was devoid of javelin and rid of pain. He got up from the ground.

Dharma is sustained by preserving the righteous protector; recovery enables Lakṣmaṇa to return to duty rather than remain in despair.

After receiving the herb’s effect, Lakṣmaṇa is healed and rises from the battlefield ground.

Lakṣmaṇa’s endurance and readiness to resume righteous combat (dharma-yuddha).
