रावण–रामयुद्धप्रारम्भः (The Intensification of the Rama–Ravana Duel)

उभौहियेनव्रजतस्तेनतेनशरोर्मयः ।ऊर्मयोवायुनाविद्धा जग्मुः सागरयोरिव ।।6.100.33।।

ubhau hi yena vrajatas tena tena śarormayaḥ | ūrmayo vāyunā viddhā jagmuḥ sāgarayor iva ||6.100.33||

Whichever way the two advanced, in that very direction surged the streams of arrows—like waves in two oceans driven by the wind.

Whichever course they took, by those streams of arrows were seen like waves in two oceans stirred up by the wind.
