Raghava swiftly rained sharp volleys upon Ravana, and Ravana likewise upon Raghava—each showering the other with diverse, piercing arrow-storms.

Dharma is tested in sustained conflict: the verse frames a balanced duel where capability is matched, implying that righteousness must be upheld not only in intent but under continuous pressure.

A direct arrow-duel intensifies, with both heroes launching rapid volleys.

Endurance and martial steadiness—continuing one’s duty without faltering.
