रावण–रामयुद्धप्रारम्भः (The Intensification of the Rama–Ravana Duel)

तान्मुक्तमात्रानाकाशे लक्ष्मणेन धनुष्मता ।बाणान् बाणैर्महातेजा रावणः प्रत्यवारयत् ।।6.100.19।।

tān mukta-mātrān ākāśe lakṣmaṇena dhanuṣmatā |

The moment those arrows were released into the sky by bow-bearing Lakṣmaṇa, the greatly radiant Rāvaṇa checked them there with his own arrows.

As soon as the excellent archer, Lakshmana released his arrows, effulgent Ravana intercepted the arrows in the sky.

The verse illustrates that power and skill can exist on both sides; therefore dharma is not merely strength, but the right cause and right conduct guiding strength.

Lakṣmaṇa’s first arrows are met immediately in midair as Rāvaṇa counters them with a precise interception.

Alertness and technical mastery in combat—while the larger ethical frame reminds that mastery must be governed by dharma.
