रावण–रामयुद्धप्रारम्भः (The Intensification of the Rama–Ravana Duel)
विस्फारयितुमारेभेततः स धनुरुत्तमम् ।महावेगंमहानादंनिर्भन्दन्निवमेदिनीम् ।।6.100.15।।
visphārayitum ārebhe tato sa dhanur uttamam |
mahāvegaṃ mahānādaṃ nirbhindann iva medinīm ||6.100.15||
Then he began to string and draw his excellent bow—mighty in impetus and thunderous in sound—like one rending the very earth.
Then he began to stretch his best bow endowed with an impelling force, sounding as if breaking the earth.
Dharma is shown as disciplined readiness: righteous action is not impulsive; it is prepared, deliberate, and proportionate to the threat.
Rāma physically readies his weapon—stringing/drawing his bow—signaling that the decisive clash is about to begin.
Śaurya with saṃyama (valor with control): power is displayed as steady capability, not reckless rage.
