O lion among kings, noble Sītā spoke these words in sorrow. Understanding what I have said, you should trust that Sītā is safe and steadfast in every way.
"O lion among kings! noble Sita has spoken these words in grief: 'Make him know all this and tell him that Sita is faithful and safe in all respects.'ityārṣē śrīmadrāmāyaṇē vālmīkīya ādikāvyē sundarakāṇḍē saptaṣaṣṭitamassargaḥ৷৷Thus ends the sixtyseventh sarga of Sundarakanda of the holy Ramayana, the first epic composed by sage Valmiki.
Dharma of truthful reporting and earned trust: the envoy conveys Sītā’s words faithfully so the king may act on reliable knowledge.
Hanumān summarizes Sītā’s sorrowful message to Rāma and urges him to trust that she remains safe and steadfast.
Hanumān’s fidelity to truth (satya) and careful communication; Sītā’s steadfastness; Rāma’s role as a righteous king who acts on true counsel.
