इमं च तीव्रं मम शोकवेगं रक्षोभिरेभिः परिभर्त्सनं च।ब्रूयास्तु रामस्य गतस्समीपम् शिवश्च तेऽध्वास्तु हरिप्रवीर।।।।

Transliteration

imaṃ ca tīvraṃ mama śoka-vegaṃ rakṣobhir ebhiḥ paribhartsanaṃ ca |

brūyās tu rāmasya gataḥ samīpam śivaś ca te ’dhvāstu hari-pravīra ||

Translation

And when you have gone near Rāma, tell him of this fierce rush of my grief—and also of the threats hurled by these rākṣasīs. O foremost of monkey-heroes, may your journey be auspicious.

Context

'O foremost among the heroic monkeys! approaching Rama, you should tell him the intensity of my sorrow and the threatening of the she-demons. Let your journey be speedy and auspicious.'
