अङ्गद-प्रत्यागमनम् — Angada’s Return and the Confirmation of Sītā’s Discovery
युवराजस्त्वमीशश्च वनस्यास्य महाबल।मौर्ख्यात्पूर्वं कृतो दोषस्तं भवान् क्षन्तुमर्हति।।।।
yuvarājas tvam īśaś ca vanasyāsya mahābala |
maurkhyāt pūrvaṃ kṛto doṣas taṃ bhavān kṣantum arhati ||
“O mighty Aṅgada, you are the heir-apparent and the rightful lord of this forest. Through folly I earlier committed an offence; it is fitting that you forgive me that fault.”
"O mighty Angada! you are heir apparent and also king. Out of foolishness I obstructed you. You ought to pardon me this mistake.
Accountability and seeking forgiveness: admitting one’s fault truthfully (satya) and requesting pardon from the rightful authority.
After the grove is disturbed, an elder Vānara addresses Aṅgada, acknowledging Aṅgada’s status and asking forgiveness for obstructing him earlier.
