स तानुपागमद्वीरो बद्ध्वा करपुटाञ्जलिम्।उवाच वचनं श्लक्ष्णमिदं हृष्टवदङ्गदम्।।।।

Transliteration

sa tān upāgamad vīro baddhvā kara-puṭāñjalim |

uvāca vacanaṃ ślakṣṇam idaṃ hṛṣṭavad aṅgadam ||

Translation

That heroic one approached them with palms joined in reverence and spoke to Aṅgada gentle, conciliatory words, his joy plainly evident.
