दधिमुख-विज्ञापनम् / Dadhimukha Reports the Madhuvana Incident
दृष्टा सीता महाबाहो सौमित्रे पश्य तत्त्वतः।।।।अभिगम्य तथा सर्वे पिबन्ति मधु वानराः।
dṛṣṭā sītā mahābāho saumitre paśya tattvataḥ | abhigamya tathā sarve pibanti madhu vānarāḥ ||
O strong-armed Saumitri, behold the truth: Sītā has been seen; therefore all the vānaras, having returned, are drinking honey.
"O strong-armed Saumitri! the Vanaras must have seen Sita. Or else, they would not have arrived to drink honey.
Dharma honors truth established by signs and conduct: joy and celebration are presented as evidence of mission success, not as empty revelry.
Dadhimukha argues that the vānaras’ confident return and honey-drinking indicates they have seen Sītā.
Practical reasoning aligned with satya—Dadhimukha connects observable behavior to a truthful conclusion.
