मधुवनभङ्गः — The Disruption of Madhuvana and Dadhimukha’s Complaint
मध्ये चैषां दधिमुखः प्रगृह्य तरसा तरुम्।समभ्यधावद्वेगेन ते च सर्वे प्लवङ्गमाः।।5.62.21।।
madhye caiṣāṃ dadhimukhaḥ pragṛhya tarasā tarum | samabhyadhāvad vegena te ca sarve plavaṅgamāḥ ||5.62.21||
In their midst, Dadhimukha seized a tree with vigor and rushed forward at speed—and all the leaping vānaras followed him.
On the way, the energetic Dadhimukha took up a tree and ran to the leaping vanaras swiftly with guards following him.
A protector must act promptly to prevent further harm; Dharma includes timely enforcement, not merely intention.
Dadhimukha leads the charge toward the offenders, taking up a tree as a weapon while the guards follow.
