अङ्गदवाक्यम्—सीताहरण-प्रतिवेदन-धर्मविचारः (Angada’s Counsel on Reporting Without Sita)
न हि नः प्लवने कश्चिन्नापि कश्चित्पराक्रमे।।।।तुल्य स्सामरदैत्येषु लोकेषु हरिसत्तमाः।
na hi naḥ plavane kaścin nāpi kaścit parākrame |
tulyaḥ sāmaradaityeṣu lokeṣu harisattamāḥ ||
O best of Vānaras, in the worlds of the devas and the daityas there is none equal to us—neither in leaping nor in valor.
"O noble vanaras! Indeed either among gods or among demons there is none who can match the vanaras in leaping and exhibiting valour.
Dharma includes using one’s abilities for righteous ends: strength and skill become obligations when they can protect the innocent and restore justice.
Aṅgada motivates the group by asserting the Vānara capability to accomplish more than mere reconnaissance.
Vīrya (valor) and confidence directed toward service of righteousness.
