In Rāvaṇa’s residence, he saw thousands of troops—adorned with Jāmbūnada gold, clad in golden mesh-like armor, radiant like the rising sun.

He saw in the palace of Ravana, the demon king, thousands of troops adorned with gold, fully protected with armour of gold shining like the morning Sun.

The verse reinforces the dharmic theme of duty-bound vigilance—power is organized and visibly maintained. Hanuman’s adherence to truth through careful witnessing supports dharma in service of Rama’s righteous cause.

This repeats/continues the description of the palace defenses: Hanuman sees large numbers of gold-armored troops stationed within Ravana’s residence.

Composure under pressure: Hanuman remains undistracted by splendor and threat, keeping his purpose central.
