There, in the dwelling of Rāvaṇa, lord of the rākṣasas, he saw thousands of troops—adorned with Jāmbūnada gold, covered in net-like golden armor, radiant like the newly risen sun.
He saw in the palace of Ravana, the demon king, thousands of troops adorned with gold, fully protected with armour of gold shining like the morning Sun.
Dharma is reflected as the responsibility of governance—maintaining protection and readiness. The verse also models satya as accurate reporting: Hanuman’s mission depends on truthful observation, not exaggeration.
Inside Ravana’s palace complex, Hanuman observes large, brilliantly armored military formations.
Hanuman’s steadiness and focus: he notes overwhelming power without losing resolve or deviating from his duty to find Sita.
