हनूमद्वृत्तान्तः—वानरबलप्रशंसा च (Hanuman’s Report and Praise of the Vanara Host)

Rāghava’s effort has borne fruit, and Sugrīva’s eager initiative too has proved effective. Having witnessed Sītā’s noble conduct, my own mind has become even more inclined in devoted resolve toward her cause.

Now if I am permitted, I shall repulse them and destroy them with my valour. A ceaseless shower of rocks sent forth by me in war is enough to destroy even gods what to say about the night-rangers?

Sītā

Dharma here is expressed as acknowledging rightful effort and giving due credit—honouring Rāma’s disciplined striving, Sugrīva’s responsible leadership, and Sītā’s steadfast character. Ethical action includes gratitude and truthful recognition of others’ contributions.

In Sundarakāṇḍa 59, the vānara leaders speak to strengthen morale and readiness for the coming confrontation with Rāvaṇa’s forces. This verse frames their success as rooted in Rāma’s mission, Sugrīva’s initiative, and Sītā’s virtue.

Sītā’s śīla (noble conduct) is emphasized, alongside the speaker’s growing devotion and resolve—an inner ethical alignment toward protecting the righteous.
