सुन्दरकाण्डे अष्टपञ्चाशः सर्गः — हनुमद्वृत्तान्तकथनम्, सीताभिज्ञान-प्रदानम्, लङ्कादाह-वर्णनम्
तं ततः प्रीतिसंहृष्टः प्रीतिमन्तं महाकपिम्।जाम्बवान्कार्यवृत्तान्तमपृच्छदनिलात्मजम्।।।।
taṃ tataḥ prītisaṃhṛṣṭaḥ prītimantaṃ mahākapim | jāmbavān kāryavṛttāntam apṛcchad anilātmajam ||
Then Jāmbavān, delighted and full of affection, asked Hanumān—the great monkey, son of Anila—for the complete account of all that had occurred.
Thereafter, very delighted Jambavan inquired Hanuman most affectionately of all that happened.
Responsible leadership seeks truthful reporting: the mission’s outcome must be known clearly (satya) before decisions are taken.
After Hanumān returns from Laṅkā, Jāmbavān asks him to narrate the complete events of his mission.
Jāmbavān’s wise stewardship—he values accurate information and treats the messenger with affectionate respect.
