सुन्दरकाण्डे अष्टपञ्चाशः सर्गः — हनुमद्वृत्तान्तकथनम्, सीताभिज्ञान-प्रदानम्, लङ्कादाह-वर्णनम्
वानराणां प्रभावो हि न केन विदितः पुरा।देवतानां सङ्काशं च ये गच्छन्ति निमन्त्रिताः।।।।
vānarāṇāṃ prabhāvo hi na kena viditaḥ purā | devatānāṃ saṅkāśaṃ ca ye gacchanti nimantritāḥ ||
Who in earlier times did not know the might of the Vānara hosts? When summoned, they go forth like the gods themselves, ready to render aid.
'Who knows not the power of Vanaras in the past? Even gods had sought their help.
It underscores truthful warning and responsible speech: a messenger (dūta) states realities without malice, reminding the opponent of the genuine strength aligned with righteous purpose.
Hanumān, as Rāma’s envoy in Laṅkā, warns Rāvaṇa about the formidable capability of the Vānara forces.
Hanumān’s fearlessness and clarity of speech—he speaks satya (truth) directly in the enemy’s court.
