लङ्कादाहः — The Burning of Lanka (Catuḥpañcāśaḥ Sargaḥ)
गृहाद्गृहं राक्षसानामुद्यानानि च वानरः।वीक्षमाणो ह्यसन्त्रस्तः प्रासादांश्च चचार सः।।।।
gṛhād gṛhaṃ rākṣasānām udyānāni ca vānaraḥ |
vīkṣamāṇo hy asantrastaḥ prāsādāṃś ca cacāra saḥ ||
The vānara moved from one rākṣasa house to another, surveying their gardens and lofty mansions, wandering calmly and without fear.
The vanara moved from one house to the other, looking at the gardens and houses of the demons without fear.
Steadfastness in duty: Hanumān remains fearless and focused while carrying out his mission for Rāma, showing that courage supports righteous action.
After initiating the conflagration in Laṅkā, Hanumān moves through rākṣasa residences and gardens, surveying and continuing his purposeful movement through the city.
Fearlessness and composure (abhaya, dhairya): he observes and acts without panic in hostile territory.
