लङ्कादाहः — The Burning of Lanka (Catuḥpañcāśaḥ Sargaḥ)
किन्नु खल्ववशिष्टं मे कर्तव्यमिह साम्प्रतम्।।।।यदेषां रक्षसां भूयः सन्तापजननं भवेत्।
pradīptam agnim utsṛjya lāṅgūlāgre pratiṣṭhitam |
nanāda hanumān vīro yugāntajalado yathā ||
Casting forth the blazing fire fixed upon the tip of his tail, the hero Hanumān roared like a cloud thundering at the world’s end.
'Is there anything still left which can further torment the demons here?
Power becomes dharmic when directed toward protection of the righteous and correction of injustice; Hanumān’s might is an instrument of moral order.
At Rāvaṇa’s palace, Hanumān releases the fire from his burning tail and roars, intensifying the terror and chaos in Laṅkā.
Tejas (radiant strength) and abhayadāna to the righteous (fearlessness on dharmic mission): Hanumān acts without fear while carrying out Rāma’s cause.
