राक्षसाधिपतिं चापि ददर्श कपिसत्तमः।तेजोबलसमायुक्तं तपन्तमिव भास्करम्।।।।
rākṣasādhipatiṃ cāpi dadarśa kapisattamaḥ | tejobala-samāyuktaṃ tapantam iva bhāskaram ||
Hanumān, the foremost of monkeys, also beheld the lord of the rākṣasas—endowed with splendor and strength—blazing like the sun.
Hanuman the best of monkeys also saw the demon king who had both splendour and strength, radiating brilliance like the Sun.
Dharma includes truthful perception: Hanumān acknowledges the opponent’s power without fear or flattery, preparing to speak his message with integrity (satya).
In the royal court, Hanumān comes face-to-face with Rāvaṇa and assesses him directly.
Courage with discernment—Hanumān recognizes real strength yet remains unwavering in duty.
