तमेवमर्थं प्रसमीक्ष्य सम्यक् स्वकर्मसाम्याद्धि समाहितात्मा।स्मरंश्च दिव्यं धनुषोऽस्त्रवीर्यं व्रजाक्षतं कर्म समारभस्व।।।।
tam evam arthaṃ prasamīkṣya samyak svakarmasāmyād dhi samāhitātmā | smaraṃś ca divyaṃ dhanuṣo 'stravīryaṃ vrajākṣataṃ karma samārabhasva ||
Having rightly examined this matter with a steady mind and sound judgment, recall the divine power of your bow and missiles; proceed, and undertake the deed in a way that you are not ruined mid-course.
"Assess the situation properly. You are a person of sound judgement. You are a master in weaponry. Recollect the strength of your bow and divineastrasand march forward with a singleminded attention. Act in a manner that does not bring your doom.
Disciplined action guided by reflection: dharma in warfare includes composure, correct appraisal, and avoiding self-destructive rashness.
Rāvaṇa urges Indrajit to evaluate the situation and then act with focused competence, relying on his divine weaponry.
