Then the heroic rākṣasas beheld that great monkey, blazing—like the rising sun wreathed in its own rays—standing upon the gateway-arch, possessed of immense resolve, keen intelligence, and tremendous strength.

The heroic giants caught sight of the vanara, who was blazing encircled as though hewas by the rays of his own glory, looking like the rising Sun. He was endowed with extraordinary agility, intelligence, and tremendous strength standing, waiting at the archway.

T
toraṇa (gateway-arch)

Dharma here is steadfast commitment to a righteous mission: Hanumān stands firm at the gateway, embodying disciplined courage and unwavering purpose rather than reckless aggression.

After alarms in Laṅkā, rākṣasa warriors notice Hanumān at the gateway-arch, radiant and unshaken, just before they launch coordinated attacks.

Tejas (inner radiance) joined with mahotsāha (great resolve): Hanumān’s strength is portrayed as morally directed power—focused, fearless, and mission-centered.
