O sinless one, this divine crest-gem (cūḍāmaṇi) I have carefully preserved; seeing it, I rejoice amid my calamity, as though I were beholding you yourself.

"O sinless Rama! this wonderful Chudamani of mine has been carefully safeguarded. Seeing this is like seeing you when I am in distress.

Sītā

cūḍāmaṇi (crest-jewel)

Dharma is supported by satya through tangible proof: the jewel functions as an ethical instrument of truth, enabling rightful action grounded in certainty rather than rumor.

Sītā presents her cūḍāmaṇi to be carried by Hanumān as a physical sign to convince Rāma of her survival and location.

Sītā’s resilience and hope: even in suffering she preserves a symbol that sustains connection and purpose.
