अभिज्ञानप्रदानम् — The Token of Recognition (Chūḍāmaṇi) and the Crow Episode Recalled
न नागा नाऽपि गन्धर्वा नासुरा न मरुद्गणाः।रामस्य समरे वेगं शक्ताः प्रतिसमाधितुं।।5.38.44।।
na nāgā nāpi gandharvā nāsurā na marudgaṇāḥ | rāmasya samare vegaṃ śaktāḥ pratisamādhitum ||5.38.44||
Neither nāgas, nor gandharvas, nor asuras, nor even the hosts of the Maruts can, in battle, withstand and turn back the rushing force of Rāma.
(Now Sita turns to Hanuman and says) "In war serpents, gandharvas, demons or Marutas cannot withstand the speed of Rama's arrows and hit back.
The verse implies that extraordinary capability entails responsibility: when one has the power to protect, dharma expects that power to be used against adharma.
