हनूमत्सीतासंवादः — Hanuman’s Offer of Rescue and Sita’s Dharmic Refusal
यथैवाहमिह प्राप्तस्तथैवाहमसंशयः।यास्यामि पश्य वैदेहि त्वामुद्यम्य विहायसम्।।।।
yathaivāham iha prāptas tathaivāham asaṃśayaḥ |
yāsyāmi paśya vaidehi tvām udyamya vihāyasam ||
O Vaidehī, just as I arrived here, so too—without doubt—I shall depart, lifting you up and taking to the open sky. See it for yourself.
"O Vaidehi! just as I reached here I shall beyond doubt take you on my back in the same way across the sky without any difficulty. See.
Satya joined with responsibility: Hanumān speaks with certainty only because he can uphold it. Dharma requires promises that are backed by capacity and intent to protect.
Hanumān reinforces his earlier proposal, emphasizing that returning with Sītā is as feasible as his successful arrival in Laṅkā.
Steadfastness and trustworthiness—Hanumān’s confidence functions as moral support to help Sītā decide amid danger.
