Dharma includes providing refuge (śaraṇāgati) and removing fear: Hanumān uses truthful assurance to protect Sītā’s life and dignity.

Hanumān anticipates Sītā’s fear of pursuit and counters it by stating that no force in Laṅkā can keep pace with him during escape.

Protective competence: Hanumān couples courage with practical capability, presenting himself as a reliable guardian.
