सीताप्रत्यय-प्रदानम् (Sita’s Recognition and Reassurance by the Envoy)
विक्रान्तस्त्वं समर्थस्त्वं प्राज्ञस्त्वं वानरोत्तम।येनेदं राक्षसपदं त्वयैकेन प्रधर्षितम्।।।।
vikrāntas tvaṃ samarthas tvaṃ prājñas tvaṃ vānarottama | yenedam rākṣasa-padaṃ tvayaikena pradharṣitam ||
“You are valiant, you are capable, you are wise, O best of the Vānaras—by you alone this stronghold of the Rākṣasas has been boldly assailed.”
"O foremost among the vanaras! you have trespassed the abodes of demons all alone. You are mighty and capable and wise.
Honoring merit truthfully: dharma includes recognizing and affirming righteous courage and service, which encourages continued protection of the innocent.
Sītā responds to Hanumān by praising his extraordinary entry into Laṅkā and his fearless mission.
Hanumān’s vīrya (heroic courage) joined with prajñā (wise judgment).
