Shloka 5.36.43

सीताप्रत्यय-प्रदानम् (Sita’s Recognition and Reassurance by the Envoy)

नित्यं ध्यानपरो रामो नित्यं शोकपरायणः।नान्यच्चिन्तयते किञ्चित्स तु कामवशं गतः।।।।

nityaṃ dhyānaparo rāmo nityaṃ śokaparāyaṇaḥ | nānyac cintayate kiñcit sa tu kāmavaśaṃ gataḥ ||

Rāma is ever absorbed in meditation upon you and ever devoted to sorrow; he thinks of nothing else at all—so completely has love taken hold of him.

"Rama is always lost in thought. He is totally given to grief. Absorbed in love for you, he thinks of none else৷৷

Dharma is portrayed as unwavering fidelity and truth of purpose: Rāma’s mind does not stray, reinforcing the moral ideal of constancy in love and responsibility.

Hanumān continues consoling Sītā by affirming that Rāma’s thoughts are wholly centered on her and that his grief proves his steadfast commitment.
