Shloka 5.36.15

सीताप्रत्यय-प्रदानम् (Sita’s Recognition and Reassurance by the Envoy)

कच्चिन्न व्यथितो रामः कच्चिन्न परितप्यते।उत्तराणि च कार्याणि कुरुते पुरुषोत्तमः।।।।

kaccin na vyathito rāmaḥ kaccin na paritapyate |

uttarāṇi ca kāryāṇi kurute puruṣottamaḥ ||

Is Rāma not shaken by distress—does he not burn with grief? Is that best of men undertaking the further steps that must be done?

"Is Rama the greatest among men not depressed? Does he not feel helpless? He is (perhaps) taking necessary steps (for my recovery).

Dharma as steadfast action: grief must not paralyze duty; the righteous continue to take necessary steps toward justice and restoration.

Sītā anxiously asks Hanumān whether Rāma remains composed and is actively pursuing the means to rescue her.

Dhairya (fortitude) and kartavya-niṣṭhā (commitment to duty): the ideal is to act rightly even under emotional strain.
