Shloka 5.35.21

रामलक्षणवर्णनम् (Description of Rama and Lakshmana; Alliance Narrative to Sita)

सत्यधर्मपरश्श्रीमान् सङ्ग्रहानुग्रहे रतः।देशकालविभागज्ञस्सर्वलोकप्रियंवदः।।।।

satyadharmaparaḥ śrīmān saṅgrahānugrahe rataḥ | deśakālavibhāgajñaḥ sarvalokapriyaṁvadaḥ ||

He is devoted to truth and dharma, and he is prosperous. He delights in gathering resources so that he may show favor and support to others; he understands the proper divisions of place and time, and he speaks in ways that are dear to all.

"He is ever established in truth and righteousness. He is prosperous and desires to accumulate wealth in order to shower favour on others. He knows the right use of time and place in discharging his duties. He has endeared himself to all by his words.

Satya and dharma expressed as conduct: truthful living, timely judgment (deśa-kāla), benevolence, and speech that heals rather than harms.

Hanumān shifts from physical identification to moral identification, describing the qualities by which Sītā would recognize Rāma’s character.

Satyadharma—steadfast truthfulness and righteousness, paired with compassionate governance and pleasing, responsible speech.
