हनूमत्सीतासंवादः (Hanumān–Sītā Dialogue and Identity Verification)
यथा हि तव वै दैन्यं रूपं चाप्यतिमानुषम्।।।।तपसा चान्वितो वेषस्त्वं राममहिषी ध्रुवम्।
yathā hi tava vai dainyaṃ rūpaṃ cāpy ati-mānuṣam | tapasā cānvito veṣas tvaṃ rāma-mahiṣī dhruvam ||
For your wretched plight, your beauty that seems beyond the merely human, and your attire marked by austerity—these make it certain to me that you are Rama’s queen.
"Indeed your plight, the superhuman beauty and your robes marked with asceticism, surely tell me that you are Rama's queen."
Dharma as steadfast fidelity and purity under trial: Sita’s austere condition becomes a moral sign, and Hanuman acknowledges it truthfully and respectfully.
Hanuman expresses near-certainty that the woman before him is Sita, based on her condition and ascetic bearing.
Sita’s endurance and chastity-signifying austerity; Hanuman’s reverent recognition.
