सीताविलापः — Sita’s Lament and Prophecy of Lanka’s Ruin

अचिरेणैव कालेन प्राप्स्याम्येव मनोरथम्।दुष्प्रस्थानोऽयामाख्याति सर्वेषां वो विपर्ययम्।।।।

acireṇaiva kālena prāpsyāmyeva manoratham |

duṣprasthāno 'yām ākhyāti sarveṣāṃ vo viparyayam ||

In a very short time I shall surely attain what my heart longs for; but this wicked course of yours foretells a reversal of fortune for you all.

"Your bad behaviour forebodes ill-luck for you.I shall have my desire fulfilled in a short time.

Karma and dharma are inseparable: persistent wrongdoing signals its own downfall; righteous perseverance leads to fulfillment.

Sītā speaks with determination, warning the rākṣasīs that their cruel behavior is an omen of impending disaster, while affirming her own hope of reunion.

Dhṛti (fortitude): Sītā maintains inner strength and certainty despite threats and humiliation.
