सीताविलापः — Sita’s Lament and Prophecy of Lanka’s Ruin
यदि मामिह जानीयाद्वर्तमानां स राघवः।अद्य बाणैरभिक्रुद्धः कुर्याल्लोकमराक्षसम्।।।।
yadi mām iha jānīyād vartamānāṃ sa rāghavaḥ | adya bāṇair abhikruddhaḥ kuryāl lokam arākṣasam ||
If Rāghava knew that I am here, then today—angered—he would, with his arrows, make the world free of rākṣasas.
"Had only Raghava known that I was here he would have freed this world of demons with his anger.
Righteous force as a remedy to systemic harm: when informed, the dharmic ruler/hero removes threats endangering the world.
Sītā believes the delay is due to lack of information about her whereabouts; she imagines Rāma’s decisive response if he knew.
Rāma’s protective justice (rakṣaṇa) and decisive capability to punish adharma.
