Swiftly, my lord Rāma—together with Saumitrī—will take away your life with his arrows, as the Sun quickly draws up a little water.

"The wives of others will insult an evil-minded man who is not satisfied with his own wives, is fickle-minded and has no control over his senses.

Dharma is protective and decisive: when violated, righteous action (punishment of wrongdoing) follows without delay.

Sītā foretells Rāma’s swift vengeance and uses a nature simile (sun evaporating water) to stress inevitability.

Confidence in dharma and in Rāma’s righteous power.
