सीताया रावणं प्रति धर्मोपदेशः (Sita’s Dharmic Admonition to Ravana)
आश्रमं तु तयोः शून्यं प्रविश्य नरसिंहयोः।।।।गोचरं गतयोर्भ्रात्रोरपनीता त्वयाधम।
āśramaṃ tu tayoḥ śūnyaṃ praviśya narasiṃhayoḥ | gocaraṃ gatayor bhrātror apanītā tvayādhama ||
Entering the empty hermitage when those two brothers, lion-like among men, had gone out of range, you abducted me—vile wretch.
"You are a mean creature. Finding me in the vacant hut, when the two brothers, lions among men, were away, you abducted me.
Adharma often operates through deceit and opportunism; dharma calls such actions out as dishonorable and illegitimate.
Sītā recounts the circumstances of her abduction—Rāvaṇa taking advantage of Rāma and Lakṣmaṇa’s absence.
Sītā’s moral courage in naming wrongdoing plainly, refusing to normalize coercion.
