लङ्कादर्शनं तथा रात्रौ सूक्ष्मरूपेण प्रवेशोपायचिन्तनम् (Vision of Lanka and Strategy for Nocturnal Entry)
न विनश्येत्कथं कार्यं रामस्य विदितात्मनः।एकामेकश्च वश्येयं रहिते जनकात्मजाम्।।।।
na vinaśyet kathaṃ kāryaṃ rāmasya viditātmanaḥ | ekām ekaś ca vaśyeyaṃ rahite janakātmajām ||
How can Rāma’s purpose—he who is self-knowing—remain unharmed? And how may I, alone, meet Janaka’s daughter in a secluded moment?
'How can the purpose of Rama, a noble soul be not spoilt? I may have a private audience with the daughter of Janaka.
Dharma is fidelity to the entrusted mission: Hanumān prioritizes protecting Rāma’s objective and seeks an approach that also safeguards Sītā’s dignity and safety.
Hanumān considers that a public or risky encounter could jeopardize the entire rescue plan; he therefore looks for a private, safe opportunity to approach Sītā.
Loyal responsibility: he measures every step against Rāma’s purpose and the welfare of Sītā.
