षोडशः सर्गः (Sarga 16): Hanumān’s Recognition of Sītā and Renewed Lament

नैषा पश्यति राक्षस्यो नेमान्पुष्पफलद्रुमान्।एकस्थहृदया नूनं राममेवानुपश्यति।।5.16.25।।

naiṣā paśyati rākṣasyo nemān puṣpa-phala-drumān | eka-stha-hṛdayā nūnaṃ rāmam evānupaśyati ||5.16.25||

She looks neither at the demonesses nor at these trees laden with flowers and fruit; her heart fixed on one point, she surely beholds only Rāma within her mind.

She is looking at neither the she-demons nor these trees full of flowers and fruits. She is surely thinking of Rama with a single-minded attention.

Satya as inner loyalty: Sita’s mind refuses distraction or intimidation; her truth is unwavering fidelity to Rama and rejection of coercive falsehood.

Hanuman notes Sita’s complete inward absorption—she ignores threats and even natural beauty, remaining fixed on Rama.

Ekāgratā (single-minded focus) and steadfast chastity/fidelity as moral strength in adversity.
