In one place were broken pitchers; in another, pots that had rolled about; elsewhere, garlands lay mixed and strewn together with water and fruits.
At some places he saw broken pots, at other places rolling pots and elsewhere flower garlands strewn and mixed up with water and fruits.
The verse serves as a quiet ethical contrast: disorder and waste follow intoxication and excess, while dharma is aligned with restraint and purposeful conduct.
Hanumān observes the physical disarray in the banquet area—broken vessels and scattered festive items—while continuing his search.
Composure: Hanumān remains unshaken by the chaotic surroundings.
