समुद्रलङ्घनारम्भः — Commencement of the Ocean-Crossing

तस्य वेगसमुद्धूतं जलं सजलदं तदा।अम्बरस्थं विबभ्राज शारदाभ्रमिवाततम्।।।।

tasya vegasamuddhūtaṃ jalaṃ sajaladaṃ tadā | ambarasthaṃ vibabhrāja śāradābhram ivātatam ||

Then the water hurled up by his rushing speed—rising together with cloudlike spray—shone in the sky, spread out like an autumn cloud-bank.

Then the water raised by his onrush along with the cloud widely spread in the sky shone like an outstreched autumnal cloud.

H
Hanumān
S
Sky (ambara)

Dharma is shown indirectly through disciplined effort: righteous purpose generates force and momentum; the verse poetically marks the power that arises from committed service.

As Hanumān speeds over the ocean, the disturbed water rises and appears in the sky like a broad autumn cloud.

Śaurya with self-control: immense power is present, yet it is harnessed toward a single righteous goal.
