The gods present there were delighted by his deed; and Vāsava—Indra of the thousand eyes—rejoiced as well, in regard to the golden Sunābha.
The gods who happened to be present at that time (on the mountain) and the thousand-eyed Indra were delighted by the gesture of golden Sunabha (Mainaka) mountain.
Dharma affirms supportive acts toward a righteous endeavor: even celestial authorities approve and rejoice when aid is offered to one acting for justice.
The assembled gods and Indra respond with joy to the mountain’s supportive gesture within Hanumān’s ocean-crossing episode.
Encouragement and sanction of righteous assistance—helping the dharmic messenger is treated as praiseworthy.
