That great mountain—until then wholly covered by the waters—at the Ocean’s bidding quickly revealed its peaks: golden summits, inhabited by kinnaras and great serpents, radiant like sunrise and seeming to scrape the sky.
At the instance of Varuna, (the presiding deity of the ocean) the lofty mountain appeared, projecting its peaks, hitherto submerged in the water. The golden peaks inhabited by nagas and kinnaras resemmbled the rising Sun as though scraping the sky in a moment.
Dharma is harmony in the cosmos: nature itself (ocean and mountain) cooperates to uphold a righteous quest.
Maināka emerges fully, revealing splendid peaks and inhabitants, as part of an attempt to aid Hanumān.
Supportive guardianship—protective forces aligning with the moral arc of the story.
